If this is the case our team will see if we can offer a better price. Beware though that many scrap car company’s will offer a “best price” online only to add on extra fees later on therefore lowering the price overall.
Authorised Treatment Facility is a term used for scrap yards that follow specific rules and regulations regarding dismantling and disposing of scrap cars.
Documentation
If you do not have the V5 document its not a problem all its means, is you will need to prove that you own the car an alternate way.
You will need to have the V5 document with you at collection. If missing bring some form of identification (Driver’s license) so we can verify that you are the owner of the vehicle.
The registration document is referring to the V5 which contains details about the vehicle and its owner.
Collection
No, we can collect your car without keys but the price we offer may be lower as specialist equipment (Hiab with a crane) is needed to remove the car.
If you are the registered keeper of the car, then you don’t need to be present when we collect your car. All we ask is that the car is accessible and we have the paperwork & keys required then we have no issues.
No it does not. This is because your car will most likely be scrapped anyway so a little rubbish does not matter. But make sure to collect any items out of car that you want to keep!
Our driver can usually load your vehicle onto one of recovery trucks in 10 to 15 minutes, but this depends on location and if the car rolls and steers.
